Meet the Photographer

Heather Zak Christian

I took an interesting route in getting here but I’m sure glad that I made it! It's funny how sometimes you can make changes between being left brain to right brain dominant. I got my Bachelors Degree in Finance and Accounting at Texas Christian University (GO FROGS!!) in 2003. After a few years working in the Accounting Industry, I felt like there was something missing and I wanted a little more out of life and to be able to express my creative side that is always tying to come out. Around 2006, I started pursuing these passions a bit further beyond a weekend photography hobby. After learning more about photography and design and being able to photograph many weddings and other photo shoots along the way, I was able to do step away from my accounting job and run my own photography business full time! I couldn't be happier to have this as a career now! I love meeting new people and being able to capture and share in special moments in their lives! I am getting to use my creativity is such a special way in that I get to combine what I love with being part of and helping such happy moments live on in my photography!
